Dishwashing music

So Artic Monkeys have a new video Arabella which I wanted to pick as my jam for This is My Jam but as always I wasn't able to post it.  Since that aggravates me so, I thought I would post it here.  Oh and for the easily offended, you see a boob for half a second.  I think AM was one of the best albums of 2013 and I'm kicking myself for missing their last show at HOB Dallas.  So...cool band.  I'm not a writer just a music lover.  Listen to their tunes.  I'm going to listen to them while I clean.  I love how  music can transform the mundane into an enjoyable experience.

Insomnia playlist

Oh my heck, is there anything worse than not being able to sleep when you KNOW you need to be sleep.  I have to work in the morning but I can only lay in bed wide awake for so long before I give it up and decide to get up.  So here are a few songs to be awake to or maybe put  me to sleep.

I love Little Green Cars and  this is the last song they played in the audience when I saw them last year.  The song is Consequence of Not Sleeping.

Beck's new album is AMAZING!!!! This is my favorite song from it, Waking Light.  I'm going to see him next month and I can't wait.  I miss live music.  I've missed too many shows lately.

Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek - I do not get tired of this song.  I shall now attempt to get a few hours sleep.  Good night,  my music loving friends.   More soon.  I've missed this blog.  I just enjoy sharing the music I love.

Songs for a Root Canal

Number one - take very good care of your teeth.  Brush, floss, use mouth rinse, get your cleanings religiously.  If you don't you will end up like me in such horrible pain that that dreaded root canal is something to look forward to.  So I get nervous at the dentist.  It's something about the drills and the smell of drilled teeth.  It's an awful, stressful experience for me so I beg and plead, can I listen to my music while they do the procedure?  They say yes and I am happy.  It only makes me feel a million times better.  Here are my music take me away from this dreadful experience songs...

Sorry that I've ignored you bloggity blog.  I got distracted by life.  Now I can't sleep so I will finish this post that I began a month and a half ago....
